FIELDING – an intermediate-to-advanced program focusing on skill work such as short hops, backhand and forehand drills, double plays, and short “snap” throws vital to being an advanced infielder.
HITTING & BASERUNNING – PBI-Illinois uses innovative drills designed to get the “sweet spot” of the bat right to the ball; live hitting is included. Baserunning works on primary and secondary leads.
PITCHING OR CATCHING – A continuation of the “building blocks” drills to help pitchers throw strikes on a consistent basis, while working on a 2 nd pitch. Catchers continue to learn the position’s complexities.
