Men’s HitTrax Winter League

DO YOU PLAY MEN’S ADULT BASEBALL?

If you’re playing baseball this spring, you absolutely need to play ball this winter in Professional Baseball Instruction’s Winter HitTrax Tournament!

We have six teams made up of five players each (minimum of three per team) to play Sundays in February and March.

HitTrax is the premier baseball data capture and simulation system for training and skill assessment.

HitTrax - Yankee Stadium

DETAILS

  • Two games per week for each team.  Single elimination playoff. Nine total games guaranteed.
  • Game times are 10 AM – 1:30 PM (game times will vary each week).
  • 6 teams in total – register as an individual, or put together your own team of 5 players (minimum 3 players per team to play each week).
  • Winning team will receive PBI Pro Shop Gift Cards and championship t-shirts.
  • COST (per player) – $174.99 if signing up as an individual player. Click here to register (on the registration form in the “Program #” section, type “MEN’S WINTER HITTRAX LEAGUE”).
  • HOME RUN DERBY – 1 player per team, competing after the championship game. Prizes for winner and longest home run.

GAME FORMAT

  • 6 innings per game or 30 minutes (whichever comes first)
  • 3 teams per session with each team playing 2 games for a total of 1.5 hours
  • First 20 minutes warmup.
  • Coaches feed machine and manage rotations.

PLAYOFFS

  • Quarterfinals: 3 vs 6 | 4 vs 5
  • Semifinals: 1 vs winner of 4/5 | 2 vs winner of 3/6
  • Championship: Semifinal winners

GAMEPLAY RULES

  • Standard baseball rules, HitTrax simulation
  • 5 players per team – minimum 3 players to play
  • Teams not playing may hit in open cages
  • Pace-of-play enforced; subbing allowed

  • Champions: $25. Pro Shop Gift Card each + Championship T-Shirts
  • Home Run Derby prize – $25 Pro Shop Gift Card
  • Longest Home Run prize – $25 Pro Shop Gift Card

IMPORTANT LEAGUE INFORMATION

  • Each team will play every other team at least once during the season.
  • Game times will vary each week and will be scheduled within the designated time slot hours.
  • You only need to show up for your assigned time slot—no need to be present the entire day.
