One of the hardest aspects of the game for young players to learn is how to properly execute a rundown. And, in fact, it’s very complicated – when to throw, what to do after the throw, shortening the distance between the fielders and the base runner – it’s no wonder that in the early stages of a player’s development the runner has the clear advantage.
